Barkley Bridge Elementary School is an elementary school located in Hartselle, Alabama. For the past 20 years, Barkley Bridge has been embracing tradition and investing in excellence in the Hartselle City School system. We have approximately 400 students enrolled in PreK-4th grade. Barkley Bridge is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence Lighthouse School (renewed-2017) with a dedicated staff of highly-qualified teachers. Barkley Bridge has also been awarded the prestigious U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon (2011).

We are a Project Lead the Way school that provides a comprehensive STEM education. Through Project Lead The Way, Barkley Bridge has been featured as a model elementary STEM school. Through activity, projects, and a problem-based curriculum, PLTW gives students a chance to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning. Barkley Bridge is an AdvancED STEM Certified School awarded in April 2018.  We are also a PLTW Distinguished Launch School (2017-2018).
